Queens singer/songwriter soulfully performs for COLORS
When I hit play on Raveena Aurora‘s “If Only,” I felt like I was transported to some magical R&B dream world. Her soulful instincts and soothing vocals put me at ease in a way that I haven’t enjoyed in a while. Raveena proudly interweaves her R&B/Soul influences (citing Sade, Prince, Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, and Corinne Bailey Rae) while still maintaining her own sensual sound.
She connects with COLORS to perform “If Only.” In front of a light blue backdrop, Raveena delivers a captivating rendition of her song. What might sound like a sorrowful tune is actually a powerful piece where the artist moves forward from a past relationship. It’s too late for the past lover and Raveena sings happily with elegance and charm.
The Queens songstress released her ethereal EP Shanti (which translates to peace in Hindi) in December, and has gained the support of hundreds of thousands Spotify listeners. Listen to the full Shanti EP on Spotify here, and keep up with all things Raveena Aurora on her website here.
