Villain Park drops a hustler’s anthem in “We Out Here”

Villain Park

West Los Angeles group Villain Park is a name that may be seeing more of and rightfully so. As we can hear in “We Out Here,” they all are emcees who can straight up rap. The group has been relatively quiet since the release of their 2015 EP, Same Ol’ Shit. It’s good to see them resurface with this new single. “We Out Here” brings back that nostalgic West Coast vibe, and the lyricism is strong.

Personally, I love seeing more groups and collectives within the realm of hip-hop. It’s nice to see the rise of newer groups like Brockhampton and Injury Reserve. Names such as the Flatbush Zombies and Underachievers have been a staple in the indie underground scene. Villain Park continues to make their place in the game evident.
