Dakota Kruser, better known as DK, is a Massachusetts-based singer and producer with a new single about the downward emotional spiral of loneliness.
“It’s okay to be alone, but sometimes, being alone gets lonely” is a letter to those who are sulking in their rooms and feeling lonely where they feel like they should feel safe. DK croons and harmonizes as he paints of picture of depression and anxiety. He questions the walls’ thoughts on himself as he speaks his feelings over acoustic guitar that trembles along with him. The track is minimal in the sense of instrumentation as it doesn’t build past the guitars and sprinkles of percussion, but DK’s voice is enough of an anchor to drag you into his mindset.
