Atlanta’s Joe Gifted drops visuals for his anthemic single, “Water”

Atlanta rising emcee Joe Gifted drops off the long-awaited visuals for his hit single, “Water.” If you’ve been riding around in the car blasting the radio the past couple months you might recognize this one. The song has been slowly gaining traction on urban radio and has amassed around 1.7 million plays on Spotify to date. It’s also difficult to ignore the infectious production by Tasha Catour and catchy chorus by Joe and collaborator Frontstreet.

Joe stated he recorded this song for fun, but it also has a deeper meaning than that for him. Gifted says he “created this song from the struggle, his lifestyle, and from being tired of being broke.” That statement is backed up by the hook, “it’s been a long time, long grind; time to shine gotta get rich.” Judging by the video, things seem to be on the up and up for Joe, as him and his crew kick back and enjoy a lavish pool mansion party.
