Tre’ Amani finds clarity inside himself on “Somebody”

Tre Amani switches things up on his new single, “Somebody.” Sometimes we create our best work going through our greatest hardships in life. When Brent Faiyaz flew Tre’ out to Los Angeles, the up and coming emcee had a lot weighing on his mind. Thanks to some trial and error, and a little bit of soul searching, a late-night studio session turned into “Somebody.” The early verses address Amani’s legal, family, and hopeless romantic issues.  Tre told us via email that “the second verse is about hope and being content with who is was and who he will be.”
