Koran Streets

He’s still on his come-up, and you should be on the lookout for Koran Streets. The Berkeley-bred rapper pays tribute to late rappers Bankroll Fresh and Tupac in his new video for “Hard.” This release comes from his YOU.KNOW.I.GOT.IT album, which was self-released back in September. Streets references Above the Rim, the 1994 movie featuring Tupac Shakur, and pays homage to one of Bankroll Fresh’s last social media posts.

“R.I.P Bankroll I’m Going Hard As Ever!”

The Bay Area rapper survived a fire when he was 13 years old, which left him with burns on more than 28 percent of his body. After 27 surgeries and six months in a coma he has been pursuing his rap career ever since.

You can buy his album on iTunes, here. Check out the video for “Hard” below.
