Atlanta native Nessly’s ‘Solo Boy Band’ is full of autotune-fueled bangers

Solo Boy Band

Nessly is new to me, but I had a good feeling about his Solo Boy Band project when I saw the likes of Take A Daytrip and Wondagurl on the production credits. The Atlanta native has already gotten cosigns from a number of influential artists and OVO Sound Radio, but this project represents his first foray into solo artistry.

Nessly told The Fader: “I started on the idea of the Solo Boy Band nearing the finish of my prior project, Still Finessin. I just couldn’t wait to get into it. I felt I was making music closer to the sound I’ve always envisioned to have. I called it Solo Boy Band because the listeners would able to take it free of bias or distraction, getting me and purely me only.”
