Boogie released Thirst 48 Part II this month and now has a visual for N*igga Needs. Lyrically, Boogie turns a critical eye on himself, running down a laundry list of things he needs to improve on.
Visually, he draws stark contrast by using two versions of himself on display in an exhibit. In one exhibit he showcases a fresh bullet wound for an all white audience, in another he sports a black eye while holding his child. While detached onlookers observe the alternating displays, his anguish remains constant. The stark display is one of the heavier messages I’ve seen in a while.
