It’s hard to forget the vivid tales told by Kendrick Lamar throughout good kid, m.A.A.d. city. The Compton emcee’s powerful images and descriptive lyricism will soon receive a visual accompaniment courtesy of the forthcoming m.A.A.d. short film, set to debut at the Sundance NEXT Fest on August 9th. Directed by Kahlil Joseph, the film is described as a “kaleidoscope of storylines and ideas that defy typical categorization to explore new languages and new forms.”
