GRUMBY is an electronic production duo from Brooklyn, NY and they are making waves with an enthralling sound that latches listeners in from the second they press play. From their current collection on Soundcloud, their latest release – “Used 2 Want U” – is consistent with their mysterious sound, yet this one features the most upbeat electronic elements, and in my opinion, is the one with dance floor appeal. Shouts to tunebit.
Grumby describes their music as “electronic music rooted in jazz and R&B.” The description makes perfect sense upon listening to “Refuse,” their latest release, featuring vocals from Häri Mint. Grumby will be in Brooklyn on September 10th for their album release party with Lindsay Lowend, Hollywood Anderson and others. Stream “Refuse” below. (HillyDilly)
Brooklyn producer, Leon, creates a pensive mood balanced out by some bright. playful keys on “Away.” I first heard “Away” while riding a train.
